- Education:Ph.D. Ohio State University, 1948. Joined CSU in September of 1948.
- Professional Activities:Invertebrate zoology, acarology (mites) research, published articles, lab manuals, textbook of acarology; awarded several NSF research grants; organized the first International Congress of Acarology - CSU, 1963.
- Lifetime Special Recognition and Awards:Distinguished Faculty Award, Secretary/Treasurer, VP, President of the CSU Faculty Club, 1961-1964, May 1960 - Distinguished Service Faculty Award.
- Interests/Activities in Retirement:Genealogy, computer research, gardening.
