About

Alexandra joined the dean’s office in April 2015 having spent her earlier career in science education and program development. She integrates her B.A. in International Affairs and Latin American Studies, M.S. in Biology, and intercultural teaching experiences in her role in the Amplify Learning Community. She loves designing experiences where students can connect what they are learning in their fundamental science courses to their lives and the world. As such she supervises student leaders, creates and implements novel programs, designs and teaches seminar courses, and collaborates with faculty and community partners.
