Career Preparation Roadmap
How can you best prepare for a career in your chosen industry throughout your time in college? The Career Preparation Roadmap breaks down how to set yourself up for success during each year of your academic career. The Career Preparation Roadmaps also outline common employers and job titles to keep an eye out for in your job search, factors that contribute to your success in landing a job post-grad, and additional resources to help you along the way.
The Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences Physical Sciences Concentration meets the needs of students who are seeking a broad exposure to mathematics and the physical sciences, rather than specializing in one discipline. With proper planning, physical science graduates can meet requirements for professional schools (e.g., medicine or law) or graduate programs in the basics or applied sciences (e.g., atmospheric sciences). Internships and volunteer activities can provide practical training and experience for additional occupational options.
