Commencement

University-wide Commencement will be held 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Canvas Stadium.

Recognition ceremonies take place Friday and Saturday (May 15-16). 

CSU’s commencement website houses everything you need to know about spring commencement events, including ceremony schedules, graduate checklists, accessibility information, maps and more. 

Regalia

Order your cap, gown and tassel in advance online via the Commencement website and click Get Your Cap & Gown. The deadline for ordering regalia is Friday, February 27.

Recognition Ceremonies

To complement University-wide Commencement, academic units host smaller recognition ceremonies where student names are read, graduates cross the stage, and diploma covers are distributed.

Note: Doors open and graduates line up one (1) hour before ceremonies begin.
