Career Preparation Roadmap

How can you best prepare for a career in your chosen industry throughout your time in college? The Career Preparation Roadmap breaks down how to set yourself up for success during each year of your academic career. The Career Preparation Roadmaps also outline common employers and job titles to keep an eye out for in your job search, factors that contribute to your success in landing a job post-grad, and additional resources to help you along the way.

Chemistry students learn to think critically about the atomic structure of physical matter and interpret how it changes. This program requires a strong interest in inquiry and offers an extensive background in chemistry laboratory techniques. The major and all five concentrations are certified by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and designed to match with the student’s specific career goals and interests. Students choose from concentrations in Environmental, Forensics, Health Sciences, Materials, and Sustainable chemistry.
