Career Preparation Roadmap

How can you best prepare for a career in your chosen industry throughout your time in college? The Career Preparation Roadmap breaks down how to set yourself up for success during each year of your academic career. The Career Preparation Roadmaps also outline common employers and job titles to keep an eye out for in your job search, factors that contribute to your success in landing a job post-grad, and additional resources to help you along the way.

Physics is crucial to understanding the world around us, the world inside us, and the world beyond us. It is the most basic and fundamental science. Physics encompasses the study of the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest subatomic particles. Moreover, it’s the basis of many other sciences including chemistry, oceanography, seismology, and astronomy. It can also be applied to biology or medical sciences. Many students go on to pursue careers in engineering, computer sciences, teaching, and graduate studies in physics.
