Dale R. Winder
Research Scholarship Fund

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Dale R. Winder Research Fellowship Fund has been established to support undergraduates majoring in Physics who actively pursue research under the guidance of a Colorado State University faculty member. Dr. Winder taught in the Physics Department 1960-1996 and is an expert on x-ray analysis.

The goal is to give undergraduates an opportunity to work one-on-one with faculty on research, and in so doing gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the research process. Awards of up to $1,200 are for the scholarship and expenses (e.g., lab supplies, travel to meetings, conference fees). Interested students may already be actively working on research, but this is certainly not required. Students wishing to take advantage of this opportunity should find a faculty member to sponsor their research and support their application.
