Welcome to the Colorado State University Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (CSU-SACNAS) Student Chapter website. The purpose of CSU-SACNAS is to:
- CONNECT people from ALL racial, ethnic, & professional backgrounds who are passionate about working with diverse populations in the science and engineering fields.
- ENCOURAGE ethnically diverse students to pursue graduate education and obtain advanced degrees needed for science & engineering research, leadership, & teaching careers
- NETWORK with other science & engineering majors, as well as professors and leaders in your discipline
- MENTOR younger students in the science & engineering fields
- EXPLORE research opportunities
- PARTICIPATE in career fairs and professional development workshops to improve interviewing skills
- TRAVEL to the National SACNAS Conference, a venue for networking with other scientists and learning about graduate school/employment opportunities
