After completing step 1 above, continue with the form below. The follow pages will create your preliminary screening application, ask you to provide reference information (email addresses of references, who will be contacted to upload letters of recommendation), and allow you to upload the .pdf document created above. Please note that the Computer Science Department will not review incomplete preliminary applications; all elements must be present for the admissions committee to review.
- The CS Graduate Admissions Committee will review your file to determine if the department will recommend you formally apply for admission. Keep this in mind when you are completing this application and adhere to proper capitalization, punctuation and spelling, since many of these documents will be re-used as part of the formal admission process. Remember that for a review to take place, all required elements must be present (transcripts, statement of purpose/research, test scores and reports, all three letters of recommendation).
- If the Committee decides to recommend you formally apply for admission to the Computer Science Department, you will be notified, and your next step will be to complete an official application with the CSU Graduate School. This will be a very streamlined process, since we will already have most of the information we need from the pre-screening process.
