College Fundraising Priorities
Every gift to the College is appreciated. However, the Office of Development has selected these funds that are in particular need of financial support.
- Where the Need is Greatest –
- Biology building:
Colorado State students recognize the ever-increasing enrollment pressures and technological advances in life science research, and voted to increase fees to provide significant funding for the construction of the biology building. Fittingly, it is designed as a student-focused environment that encourages students to meet and work with classmates and faculty. - Chemistry Research building:
The Colorado State legislature voted to fund a portion of our SSS-4 million building to expand chemistry research. Further donor investments will fund new equipment and other building enhancements. Your contribution will help set the bar for the future of academic and research spaces at Colorado State University. - WINS –
The purpose of the fund is to provide support for the recruitment and retention of women within the College of Natural Sciences at Colorado State University. This objective would include the recruitment and retention of undergraduate and graduate students as well as post-doctoral fellows and faculty. Goals of the program include: celebrate extraordinary achievement by nationally recognized women scientists; encourage participation in science by women; enhance visibility of women in science at CSU; attract women to join science faculty at CSU; provide role models for students; provide networking opportunities; and create a learning community on campus. http://www.natsci.colostate.edu/faculty-staff/women-in-natural-sciences/
- Undergraduate Scholarships –
Our undergraduate students always need a helping hand. A gift to our scholarship fund will be used to recruit talented new students and support our current students.
- Graduate Fellowships –
Research fellowships support graduate students while they conduct research within the College and pursue graduate degrees.
