    Research interests in: Alpine tundra of Colorado, SE Alaska and SW Argentina; Intraspecific genetic/ecologic variability in native grasses; American Beech Forests; Member and Chair of: Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board and Governor Lamm's Science Technology Advisory Committee. Also the major professor to 13 Ph.D. and 12 M.S. students, Department Chair from 1966-1975.

    Travel to Argentina, Chile, Alaska, Ireland, Scotland, and Spain; Working with alpine-tundra data from the 1960's, golf.
