Kooza is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil: It combines two circus traditions -acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful melange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor. The Innocent's journey brings him into contact with a panoply of comic characters such as the King, the Trickster, the Pickpocket, and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog. Between strength and fragility, laughter and smiles, turmoil and harmony, Kooza explores themes of fear, identity, recognition and power. The show is set in an electrifying and exotic visual world full of surprises, thrills, chills, audacity and total involvement.

In addition to Saint Sebastian, Exquisite Pain, MCA Denver presents two butterfly paintings, one shown for the first time in this US exhibition. These pieces, which Hirst recently announced he would no longer be producing, offer a sense of beauty, vulnerability and tragedy. A medicine cabinet sculpture connects animals and humans to science as pharmaceuticals are created using a combination of synthetic and organic materials.

It all began with a special gift to the mayor of Denver, a black bear named Billy Bryan. Today, Denver Zoo is one of the most popular zoos in the United States and is home to 4,000 animals representing over 750 species. That means a rare look at exotic animals like amur leopards, king cobras, black rhinos, coral reef fish, elephants, zebras, vampire bats, gorillas and more! Modern zoo exhibits has improved the lives of animals and created a richer experience for Denver Zoo visitors. With naturalistic habitats like the new Predator Ridge as well as Tropical Discovery, Primate Panorama and the Dragons of Komodo exhibit, the Zoo is working to enhance the lives of some of the world's most endangered species. Not only are some current exhibits unique to the Denver Zoo, but unique in the wild as well - 144 zoo species are considered endangered, and three species are actually extinct in the wild. That is why the Denver Zoo continues to foster an education-based approach to the appreciation of wildlife and conservation of our precious natural resources. Permanent exhibits include: Lorikeet Adventure, Bear Mountain, Predator Ridge, Tropical Discovery, Primate Panorama, Gates Center/Wild Encounters, Pachyderm Habitats, Bird World, Conoco Zoo
