Academic excellence in the physical, behavioral, mathematical, and life sciences
The College of Natural Sciences

The College of Natural Sciences at Colorado State University offers undergraduate and
graduate degree programs in the foundational areas of modern science. We are passionate
to meet the needs of students interested in pursuing careers in research, business, academics,
and government.
Students within our College become everything from computer
programmers to psychiatrists, from chemists to actuarial statisticians. The academic
departments in the Natural Sciences are all devoted to one ideal: the comprehensive
education of our students.
In the College of Natural Sciences, dedicated professors and strong research programs
enable students to become vital participants in the scientific process. The Undergraduate
Research Institute gives students a chance to learn modern research techniques firsthand.
The Tutorial Hall provides free peer tutoring in the courses that are traditionally
considered to be more difficult. The Ingersoll Residential College offers students the
opportunity to live with other students who share similar interests and majors.
