Colorado State University

Research

The College of Natural Sciences plays a central role in the University’s research mission. Its primary research purpose is the solution of fundamental problems in the biological, physical, behavioral, and computational sciences, but many of the answers to these questions have very practical applications as well.

Throughout the College, a large number of faculty members have become world leaders in their respective research areas. All the departments within the College place a very strong emphasis on student participation in their research projects – both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
